The TPSA project conducted interviews to better understand Indonesia’s participation in global value chains (GVC) in three strategically important export commodities to Canada—coffee, footwear, and apparel. In March 2017, TPSA consultants from Trade Facilitation Office (TFO) Canada were in Indonesia interviewing businesses in the supply chains in each of these commodities—from the sourcing of raw materials, to transporting the goods, to marketing and sales.
