The 5 Indonesian coffee exporters TPSA supported to show their products at the Global Specialty Coffee Expo in Seattle also travelled to Vancouver, Canada to meet potential buyers present their products at the “Specialty Coffee Indonesia” event.

The event, organized by the Indonesian Trade Promotion Centre and Nusa Coffee Company, consisted of a panel dialogue on Indonesian coffee as well as coffee tasting and cupping. The event was attended by coffee roasters, importers, and media. There was also a special session held to present highlights from TPSA’s study on the coffee global value chain and information on the next TPSA coffee buyer mission to Gayo in November 2018.

In Vancouver, the Indonesian coffee producers also visited Los Beans’ coffee importer and roaster facility in Delta, British Columbia. Los Beans and Nusa Coffee are two companies who joined TPSA’s coffee buyer mission in 2017 and both entities agreed to import one container from Arinagata Cooperative. The group visited the Los Beans warehouse facility, which is used to store the imported coffee.
