Greg Elms, TPSA Field Director, was a panel discussant at the Infrastructure in Indonesia workshop hosted by the Canada-ASEAN Business Council. He spoke about how policy swings can affect investor interest in the renewable energy infrastructure sector. The TPSA project recently held a one-day workshop to present and discuss proposals, ideas and options to enhance renewable energy development in Indonesia ( https://tpsaproject.com/event/workshop-on-renewable-energy/). A clear understanding is emerging from both public and private stakeholders that Indonesia’s current approach to developing renewable energy projects needs to be further improved if Indonesia is to make any significant progress towards reaching its internationally agreed targets (COP21) for the development of such projects.
